Job Description:

The HR/Payroll & Marketing Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the HR & Payroll Department as well as assist the Executive Administrator. He/she will be responsible for reviewing, fixing, and submitting Payroll for all employees to Altres for processing each week, entering employment records into company database, creating Marketing documents, promoting the company online via company websites and social media platforms, and performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail and is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of producing quality work in a timely manner.Principal Responsibilities:Mondays and Tuesdays will be dedicated to the processing of Payroll.Wednesdays through Fridays will be assisting Executive Administrator with marketing and supporting President's plans for Castaway Group.Support all functions of the HR & Payroll Department. May include one or more of the following: filing, documents/records keeping, data entry, answering phones, taking/relaying messages to other departments, receive FedEx or UPS deliveries, assist with departmental functions such as maintaining time-off schedule, submitting/filing reports and notices with other agencies, answering/forwarding general inquiries, etc.Checks timesheet entries, reviews DPRs, and clarifies data with employees and Project Managers before submitting Payroll to Altres.Gathers payroll information and maintains records and information.Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.Maintains quality service by following organization standards.Act as liaison between own group/supervisor and others, such as other departments, Altres, external contacts, clients, etc.Assist Executive Administrator with preparing marketing content and bid package documentation.Prepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and industry partners.Collect and organize company photos, videos, and information to use for marketing, sales, internal communications, or bid purposes.Manage company PR and Social Media.Manage Company online content, keeping websites, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. current.Work with third-party digital marketing companies to provide Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for Castaway Group websites.Develop and maintain company marketing and sales materials.Assist Executive Administrator in developing content and publishing monthly Company newsletter.Provide company administrative and office management assistance as needed.Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele.Assist Executive Administrator in the organization of company events that take place outside of the workplace, such as golf tournaments, company annual year end party and summer barbecue, fund-raising events, and staff appreciation events.Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesGood communication skills; is able to effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally; gives full attention to others; asks questions when appropriate to fully understand points being made, and lets others fully state their ideas.Grasps concepts quickly and has good follow through skills; adheres to deadlines and workload demands and follows through on challenges as they arise.Is self-motivated; maintains a feeling of pride in work; has a strong work ethic and strives to achieve all goals.Has the ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation; seeks information from appropriate sources; has the ability to tackle a problem using a logical, sequential approach and can anticipate the implications of actions.Is trustworthy and maintains confidentiality at all times.Is service oriented and activelylooksforwaystohelppeople.Demonstrates a team-focused approach when working with operations to deliver quality work and meet deadlines.Must fit company's culture and exemplify Castaway's Core Values - OHANA - 'Ohana (Family), Ho'ihi (Respect), Alaka'I (Leadership), No'eau (Craftsmanship), Aloha (Compassion).Qualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Accounting, or Marketing a PLUS3 Years of administrative assistanceProven marketing content development and advertising copy edit experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Powerpoint, Word Press, Adobe, and other presentation and graphic design programs.BenefitsWe offer competitive pay commensurate with experience.MedicalDentalVisionBasic Life, AD&D, Short-Term/Long-Term Disability, and Supplemental Insurance401KPTOFlex Spending AccountsAflacHawaii Life FlightLegal AssistanceEmployee AssistanceTuition AssistanceDiscounts at local and national retailers
