Under the general supervision of the Director of Security and within the limits of the established company policies and procedures, oversees and assists the Security Team in all aspects of safety and security operations of the Kaanapali Alii. The Security Manager works closely with security staff, the general public and works with outside emergency services as needed. Interacts with guests, owners, and colleagues. Coordinates safety and security efforts with other departments as needed and provides support to the security team by patrolling, covering shifts for security officers and the director of security as needed. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.
• Guard Card for the State of Hawaii
• CPR/FA Certification
• Training & Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in security or law enforcement role. Previous supervisory experience required. Resort/Hotel/Condominium experience strongly preferred.
• Job Knowledge: Must know OSHA regulations and prevention/intervention plans
• Special Qualifications: Possession of a valid driver license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage projects. Possesses excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to diffuse volatile situations. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be pro-active in the approach to problem resolutions.
