Job Description:
The Resort Project Manager is responsible for the execution of
Hyatt Design Standards and reports directly to the Director of
Engineering. The position is a highly collaborative role,
functioning across multiple disciplines.
In collaboration with the owner's representatives and senior
leadership, the Resort Project Manager manages the planning design,
renovations, and operational review.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Pro-actively manage capital expenses within approved departmental
budgets; Manage capital projects, contracts, service agreements,
and financial coding.
- Lead project and pre-planning meetings with owners'
representatives and operational teams; Attend key
construction/renovation meetings.
- Has the capability to review blueprint drawings, building plans,
and specifications to ensure that the approved designs have been
incorporated and provide advice on specifications for interior
furnishings and fixtures.
- Oversee projects on-site construction at regular intervals for
appropriate quality, compliance with approved drawings, owners'
expectations and Hyatt brand standards and report immediately any
deviations from quality or brand standards to the Director of
Engineering and, if required, working with the Owner's
representatives on corrective measurements.
- Oversee the design and review process of all outsourced
activities, including, but not limited to, engineering, life
safety, and ultra-low voltage systems for all new construction and
renovation projects in collaboration with the Director of
Engineering.
