PAY RATE: Up to $17.00/HOUR

  Care Region Assistant- Do you want a full-time, consistent schedule, but not necessarily in full 8-hour blocks? We can design a full time, consistent schedule around your day-time availability? Care Region Assistants are assigned a reliable full time schedule each week visiting a consistent panel of clients. They are compensated for travel time and receive mileage reimbursement

    Hourly Personal Care Assistant- Collaborate with us to design a work schedule that fits your needs. Shifts longer than 4+ hours are assigned, and overtime shifts are available. Full time and part time positions are available.CURRENT NEEDS AVAILABLE:
    • FULL TIME: 8AM - 5PM - 7 Days/ Week - Kihei, Upcountry, Lahaina, Kahului

          What you can expect as a CNA/NA:
          • Providing care to our clients under support of an RN Supervisor
          • Assisting clients with ADLs including but are not limited to:
            • Bathing/Grooming/Dressing
            • Oral Care
            • Toileting Activities
            • Feeding
            • Meal Preparation
            • Light Housekeeping
            • Providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
            • Medication Reminders
            • Range of motion and exercises
            • Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients
            • Providing one-on-one attention and care in a home setting
            • Understand, perform, and adhere to the information and precautions listed in the clients' plan of care

                  LOCATIONS ON MAUI SERVED:Ho'okele Home Care serves clients all over Maui and will work with you to try to find assignments that meet your personal preferences.
                  
                  CNA / NA Requirements:
                  • Licensed Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide or Nurse Aide Certificate
                  • High School Diploma or equivalent
                  • Basic CPR and First-Aid certification (No online CPR)
                  • Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
                  • Proof of 2-Step and current TB clearance (within a year)
                  • Must have a smartphone
                  • MUST be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
                    **Incomplete requirements will still be considered. However, those with complete requirements will be prioritized.
                    COVID-19 considerations: Ho'okele provides PPE to all employees, equipment such as face mask, face shield, gloves, shoe covers, and gown. We accept letters of Medical and Religious Exemptions.
