VISTA is working with a Hawaii client with advanced practice needs
in a very rural village on the island of Maui. - -Location: Hana,
HI -Training: BC/BE -Nurse Practitioner *no PA -Duration: 3-6 month
locum opportunity -Board requirement: BC/BE -Schedule: 10 days
monthly typical schedule Thur-Sat. clinic plus call -Clinic hours:
8a-5p plus call -Shifts: clinic plus call usually 3 days in a row
-Procedures: Mostly cuts, bone brakes, cough and colds. LT needs to
be prepared for anything that could come in - chest pain,
lacerations, broken bones, etc. -Case types: Mostly tourist
injuries -Cases per day: 14 -Type of facility: Rural community
clinic -EMR: Athena -Credentialing: 30 days -License requirement:
