Summary This key talent acquisition position is based on Maui.
Partners with managers to effectively provide full cycle recruiting
services to identify and hire key talent to Hawaiian Airlines.
Brings an experienced recruiting background to the team to both
exhibit and strengthen the team's developing, planning, skilled
communication, business insight, relationship management, and
organizational skills. Key Responsibilities
- Delivers exceptional customer service to both hiring managers
and candidates throughout full life cycle recruiting for a variety
of positions and departments supporting the company
- Fills vacancies with quality service, communication, and
timeliness in mind. Is action oriented and delivers on productivity
measures for time to fill positions
- Attracts talent by attending talent acquisition events
including career fairs, mixers, networking, and recruitment
events
- Demonstrates a good understanding of market conditions, best
practices, and continuously improving tactics to match changing
needs of internal and external customers
- Communicates effectively by demonstrating exceptional written
and verbal communication, including presentations and other group
participation
- Exhibits resourcefulness in acquiring exceptional talent by
creatively commanding available resources to fill positions in a
timely manner
- Fulfills compliance requirements of recruiting for EEO, AA and
all other applicable state and federal laws
- Builds networks within the organization, community, and
industry to share the employer brand active opportunities and
building pipeline
- Maintain project plans and project tracking records and is
responsible for successful completion of recruiting and other
related assigned projects on time and within budget.
- Increases capability in interview stakeholders through training
and interview question preparation
- Lead and develop up to 1-2 direct reports, as assigned, and
dependent on business need
- Develops team members (direct reports) with goal setting,
support, recognition, feedback, empowerment and sharing of business
insight
- Develops and implements programs that innovate talent
acquisition and optimize current work processes
- Works closely with HR Business Partners and department leaders
on recruiting and talent objectives. Employs a strategic mindset to
advise the business on optimizing talent. Understands business and
operational needs in order to recommend effective staffing
solutions

- Completes other projects and duties as assigned Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting
- Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) or other large
enterprise applicant tracking systems
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and
regulations.
- Highly skilled in building and managing relationships
- Ability to manage moderately to moderately complex multiple
projects and programs to successful outcomes independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability
to deliver effective presentations to various audiences
- High level of creative, critical thinking and decision making
to solve complex planning and business issues
- Strong computer skills, ability to learn new applications, and
possess strong knowledge of social media and branding
- Must have received the COVID Vaccine by date of hire **All

- 10+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience with AAP and OFCCP compliance
- Previous supervisory/management experience
- Airline experience
- Experience with hiring in a highly unionized environment About
