Responsibilities I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:-- - --- - Prepares and performs a variety of CT procedures.-- --- - --- - Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:-- - --- - Essential: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.-- --- - --- - Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.-- --- - --- - Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.-- --- - --- - Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body.-- --- - --- - Operates CT scanner, injectors, interventional equipment, CT display consoles, computer, telephone, printer.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:-- - --- - Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.-- --- - --- - Exposed to communicable diseases.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A.-- - EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:-- - --- - Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist.-- - --- - Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).-- - --- - Current BLS/HCP certification.B.-- - EXPERIENCE:-- - --- - Two (2)-- - years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility;OR-- - --- - One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.-- - --- - CT experience preferred.-- - --- - Experience to demonstrate:-- - o-- - In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.-- - o-- - Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
