JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:--- - Performs a variety of radiologic procedures. ---- - Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--- - Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting usual weight of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds; carrying usual weight of 20 pounds. ---- - Continuous: - stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds. ---- - Frequent: twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time. ---- - Occasional: - sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting. ---- - Operates x-ray equipment, computer and printer, fax machine, surgical supplies and equipment, film cassettes, film processors.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:--- - Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning. ---- - Subjected to noise/vibration from film processors. ---- - Exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous anesthetic agents, body fluids, wastes, electrical and radiation energy, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals and radiation.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. - EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:--- - Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.--- - Registered Technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).--- - Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.--- - CurrentBLS/HCP certification.B. - EXPERIENCE:--- - One (1) year experience in an acute care facility preferred.
