First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a highly engaging, customer-focused, goals-driven, Personal Banker to join our Kona Branch on Hawaii island. In this role, you will frequently consult with portfolio clients via needs based, financial planning conversations. You will address clients issues and achieves their goals by applying knowledge of bank products, leverage financial acumen to refer prospects to Private Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management, and Mortgage Departments/Teams. You will also be responsible for retention and growth of assigned Personal Banker portfolio.*Work Schedule*Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Friday 8:00AM - 6:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary)*The ideal candidate will have: ** Bachelors Degree and/or related experience; combined with* 1-2 years experience in Financial Services, or Retail /Business Banking; or* Equivalent work experience with basic understanding of: accounting and finance, financial statements, and cash flow.* Prior branch operations knowledge or experience preferred.* Completion of FHB Cash Flow, Consumer Lending courses within 6-12 months from hire or equivalent work experience.* Valid Drivers License.* FHB NMLS Certification within 6-12 months from hire or equivalent work experience.* State of Hawaii Life & Health License.* Must be qualified to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).*For more information and to apply, please go to www.fhb.com/jobs**About First Hawaiian Bank*Are you interested in working alongside a group of dynamic thinkers, innovators, and leaders who thrive together as a team?
