Job DescriptionWhat will I be doing?




As the -Housekeeping Office Supervisor, -you will be responsible for department purchasing needs, maintaining adequate departmental supplies and inventories, and work scheduling the following areas: room attendants, laundry department, and pool team members.

    Schedule Details:



    Primary hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Hours of operation may vary based upon business needs.



    Additional Responsibilities Include:




    • Applies established accounting practices to evaluate competitive pricing. Orders & receives supplies, and processes invoices for payment.
    • Uses property reports to forecast proper staffing levels daily, and calculate the amount of team members required to satisfy business needs weekly.
    • Approves team member requests for time off. Audit timekeeping records and provides report to Executive Housekeeper.
    • Prepares and posts weekly work schedules for departments while adhering to labor laws, company policies and bargaining agreement.
    • Manages the department checkbooks and purchasing logs for housekeeping and laundry departments
    • Responsible for securing department valuables. Controls access to secured storage areas.
    • Assists in all other related duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
      • (1)+ years of experience in Housekeeping or Administrative fields and (1) year of supervisory experience in the Housekeeping field required.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
